Why Do We Need Simulations for the Euclid Telescope?
Until I can get my laptop fixed and/or get a new one, my ability to write blog posts is a bit limited. At least there is a sizeable collection of things to share, including a steady supply of new videos from the Euclid Consortium like this one:

If only there were a popular science book just out in paperback that explained how simulations and surveys work together, that’d be really great wouldn’t it?

A “book”? What is that?

It’s a relatively new thing, popular amongst the youth. Think of it like lots of blog posts all gathered together, encapsulated in a neat device that can page through them without ever needing to be recharged*. If you buy it in Barcelona, you get a version of the device that displays the text translated into Spanish. I particularly like the new innovation that the text has been translated by a human linguist rather than by AI.

It will never catch on unless they make versions you can play on a gramophone.
