Seeing Professor Mike Barlow‘s contribution to the written evidence submitted to the House of Common’s inquiry into particle physics and astronomy reminded me that he bears a striking resemblance to another noted man of letters…

I once saw one of Mike’s credit cards, and it appeared to have a holographic portrait of him in the corner. That’s a bloody clever security system I thought – each card has a tamper proof image of its owner. Turns out of course that the hologram was of The Bard..
