2012 in review
The WordPress.com stats helper monkeys prepared a 2012 annual report for this blog.
Here’s an excerpt:
About 55,000 tourists visit Liechtenstein every year. This blog was viewed about 460,000 times in 2012. If it were Liechtenstein, it would take about 8 years for that many people to see it. Your blog had more visits than a small country in Europe!

Do they not show statistics for Iran or has there been no visitors from there?
Farsical!

WordPress is probably blocked in Iran, as it is in China. A friend in China told me he couldn’t read this blog from there. I note however that 10 visitors from China did manage to view it, so perhaps there’s a way around the state firewalls….

Only 10 visitors (or visits) from China? Just a little more than Afghanistan and a tenth of Nepal’s!

Wow – beating Liechtenstein! I haven’t been there but visited your blog fairly regularly, so I guess that confirms that this is statistically significant. All the best for 2013 – it would be nice if your new journal gets more visits than Spain!

Does the Liechtenstein tourist board have a wordpress blog?
Their end of year report must make somewhat bittersweet reading.

I wonder why there’s two of Anton. Perhaps it’s because this was posted on New Year’s Eve?
