    The FA Cup.
    Too bad it counts for
    FA nowadays.

      it is a unique achievement to win the FA Cup in the same seasons as getting relegated. For the record, six teams have reached the FA Cup final in the same season they got relegated, but all six lost in the final. The teams are:

      Chelsea 1915
      Man City 1926
      Leicester 1969
      Brighton 1983
      Middlesbrough 1997
      Portsmouth 2010

    I could name a cricket team that won the championship and got relegated next season. But I’m not going to.
