I suspect that the false information was planted by people who don’t want Huawei to have anything to do with the UK’s implementation of 5G.

I think the funniest thing I have seen on TV was part of an episode of Jon Ronson’s classic cult series “Secret Rulers of the Universe” in which a bunch of angry Jews were berating David Icke for claiming that giant disguised lizards were running the world, saying that this was obviously code for Jews, and Icke was insisting that he really did mean lizards.

Yes, I think he is sincere too, which is what made the episode all the more interesting. The idea has obvious echoes of Genesis 3.

Hmmmm…. that one could be unfortunate if your neighbours were nutters and consipiracy freaks!
Fortunately, mine are all geeks like us, so the surrounding networks sport names like Marvin the Paranoid Android, Vodatown, dontyou tryit and Nuclearfamily (bet they work at Aldermaston!). My fave is Apollo 13. Ours is Tracey Island on hubbys insistence.
