Swinging on the Säckpipa

And now for something completely different.

This is Swedish musician Gunhild Carling out front of a swinging big band on the open-air stage at Central Park, New York, tearing it up on the bagpipes*.

(*to be precise these are a kind of traditional Swedish bagpipes known as the säckpipa).

That was brilliant thanks for sharing! (Wonder if it would have worked so well with the Northumberland pipes? They give such a gentle sound!)

There are many types of bagpipe in Sweden. The term säckpipa does indeed mean bagpipe in Swedish but is used in English to describe a specific kind of Swedish bagpipe from the Dalarna region.
