I’m very glad you posted this, Peter: I have been a complete fan of Tom’s work at TimeScapes for a couple of years now, motivated by his fabulous “Learning to Fly” time lapse video. The new one is a brilliant taster of the full-length film to come, and I’m happy to see that it also includes a snippet of the “how on earth did he do that driving along the road bit?” which demonstrates skill and immense patience alike.
I had missed the fact that he’d won the UK Astronomy Photographer of the Year. Very well deserved, although of course, his having won for a single still image is way less than half of the point 🙂
