Yesterday, when I was young…
Looking for some old papers on my ancient laptop this afternoon I came across these pictures. I think they are stills taken from a series of video lectures I did a while ago (around 1996) called Topics of Modern Cosmology with a company called EUROPACE 2000. The course vanished without trace – although I still have the unedited footage in a box in my office – leaving only these relics of a bygone era:

I clearly remember your video course! I hope you find the final tapes and put them on youtube!

I have about 30 hours of videotapes, about 29 hours of which appear to be of Carlos.

its a well-known problem – if you leave some blank tapes in the same box… those will end up covered with footage of carlos as well (some of it in 3D).
we think he’s a video virus – related to brianus coxae rhinovirus.

I even recognise the Northumberland Telescope in the last picture – but isn’t it the wrong way round?

I can’t help but feel that there should be a caption competition for the pictures, particularly the last.
