I am surprised that IOP failed to point out that “Telescoper” is also a sort of seaside postcard style joke of the kind that I am certain you enjoy Mr C. Sorry, I mean Deputy Head Professor C. I seem to recall that you once told me that “Andy Lawrence” was an anagram of “We Lend Any Car”, but somehow that doesn’t have the same ring to it.
