Books Returned!
At the end of a very busy week in Maynooth I’ve at last been reunited with my books and other possessions. Eamon arrived with his van this afternoon, we unloaded all the boxes and I made a start of stacking the shelves.
It being rather warm this afternoon, however, I’m now a bit sweaty and have had enough so am going home for a drink…

What’s the green bucket for?

It’s not a bucket. It’s an old tin for a panettone. It contains various lecture props…

Ah, I see. Now we know what to do with old panettone tins.

Among other things it contains my Peppa Pig Beachball.

That’s a coincidence. Four of us were discussing Peppa Pig on a train last night.
I’m sure you find Peppa useful for your lectures.

I have a similar blue panettone tin that I keep all my cooking spices in, in our house in Kerry. The panettone was huge and it took ages to eat and became stale so I gave it to my mum to make bread and butter pudding, but the tin with string handle is very useful.
