That description of the weather is spot on. I visited Ireland once and packed a raincoat, only to end up wearing it as a makeshift umbrella while the sun blinded me. It keeps you on your toes, I guess, but it makes planning a picnic impossible. You basically need to pack three seasons of clothing just to walk to the shop. It is beautiful though, when the clouds decide to take a break. Do you find the constant changing weather inspiring for writing or does it just make you want to stay inside?
