Gendered Language
I was bemused to find this when I typed “non-binary” into Google translate for the Spanish version:
Sigh. This rather defeats the whole point of the word. Catalan, on the other hand, makes more sense…
On a more positive note, I have seen examples of the article ‘lxs’ instead of ‘los’ or ‘las’.

‘kinnell’,Peter, how is an average bear like me supposed to understand all that stuff – very easy to unintentionally offend someone by the time one has worked out how to address them/refer to them.

It depends whether or not you need to say things in Spanish. The best way to know how to address someone is simply to ask them.
