Maynooth University Library Cat Update
It has been a nice day for Bloomsday, though I was forced to spend nearly all of it in my office on campus (including having a sandwich lunch there). Fortunately m’colleague Joost Slingerland sent me this picture of Maynooth University Library Cat basking in the warmth of the outdoors.

Anyone know how old he is?
On another topic, there was a positive article about Wyn Evans standing as Cambridge’s Chancellor in yesterday’s Telegraph. I’ve registered to vote (for him).

I’m told he arrived here as a youngster shortly before I did; I’ve been here about 7 1/2 years so I guess he is 8 or 9.
